The Socio-Emotional and Affective Intervention and Assessment Landscape in Higher Education (SEAI Landscape) is a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to study the current landscape of research and practice on social-emotional and affective factors (also known as non-cognitive factors) that impact college success and career readiness.

The project is examining the research base to determine which non-cognitive factors are most important; which interventions are being used in the field to develop these factors, and how these factors are assessed. The project will also identify gaps in the field and provide actionable recommendations for the Foundation's work in understanding affective/socio-emotional factors.

In collaboration with scholars from Harvard University and Boston College, IMPAQ International is working to design and administer two surveys of higher education institutions and workforce employers, conduct follow-up interviews, and literature reviews, analyze the data, and participate in reporting and dissemination.
