Mr. Alon Evron
Mr. Alon Evron is a Senior Data Scientist in IMPAQ Health’s Payment Models & Quality Metrics (PM&QM) practice area. He provides programming and other technical support to several Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ) projects.
Mr. Evron specializes in all stages of the software project life cycle, from initial user requirements to the release into production. He has 20 years of extensive experience with database application, design, development, testing, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting. For the last seven years, Mr. Evron has applied these skills in a health care setting. He worked with large and complex claims data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and used multiple platforms such as the Chronic Conditions Warehouse and the Integrated Data Repository. Mr. Evron brings extensive expertise analyzing and reporting on large scale medical and survey data bases, including Medicare public use files, RESDAC files, MDS files, EDB and Medicare and Medicaid claims data. He has also worked on company-wide programming and quality assurance guidelines.
Mr. Evron has twenty years of experience working with a wide range of clients including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s (AHRQ), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Prior to joining IMPAQ, Mr. Evron was a lead programmer analyst at Abt Associates. Before joining Abt, Alon was a program manager and a senior programmer at RTI International.
Mr. Evron has a master’s degree in statistics, with a specialization in operations research, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Alon earned his Bachelor of Science (BSc) in mathematics and statistics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
Mr. Evron also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in computer engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) in Haifa, Israel.
