Ms. Julia Wu is a Research Associate at IMPAQ. Her professional interests focus on the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies that address health promotion at multiple levels.
Ms. Wu has expertise in leading qualitative research and project management. Her work has focused on mixed-methods program evaluations and patient and consumer engagement in health care. She has extensive experience in conducting in-depth interviews, cognitive testing, focus group facilitation, protocol development, data collection, and analysis.
Ms. Wu has worked on a variety of projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the National Institutes of Health, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and the San Mateo County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services.
Prior to joining IMPAQ, Ms. Wu was a Researcher at the American Institutes for Research and a Research Associate at Sociometrics.
Ms. Wu earned her M.P.H. in Sociomedical Sciences, specializing in Health Promotion, from the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in 2008. Ms. Wu is also a certified public health professional.
