Ms. Michelle Lefebvre
Ms. Michelle Lefebvre, BSN, is a Research Associate responsible for supporting electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) development and maintenance within IMPAQ’s Health Division.
Expertise
Ms. Lefebvre is an expert in clinical quality measurement, healthcare related data standards, clinical terminologies, electronic health record design, clinical workflow, clinical quality reporting, and value-based care programs (for example, CMS Hospital Inpatient Quality Reporting Program, and the CMS Quality Payment Program) and clinical decision support. Her work has involved design, development, and testing of the clinical logic within clinical quality measure reporting software, electronic health record systems, and clinical decision support products. She has served on the National Committee for Quality Assurance Coding Committee, and collaborated with the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
Clients
Ms. Lefebvre supports the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) through the Patient Safety Measure Support contract, and both CMS and the American Society of Clinical Pathology through a Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act measure development cooperative agreement grant. Her work includes activities such as electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) development, testing, and maintenance for both hospital-level patient safety measures, and clinician/practice-level pathology measures.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining IMPAQ, Ms. Lefebvre served as Sr. Clinical Content Manager and Informatics Specialist at Change Healthcare, Product Manager of Measure Service at McKesson Connected Care and Analytics, and Director of Clinical and Analytical Development at McKesson Health Solutions. Her hospital experience includes direct patient care in acute care facilities throughout the U.S. including Massachusetts, Washington, D.C., Florida, and California.
Education
Ms. Lefebvre earned her B.S. in Nursing from University of Lowell in Massachusetts, and is a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
