Having a state-of-the-art, in house survey center enables us to provide a full range of cost-efficient survey research and data collection services, offer scalable options, and rapid responses to changing project needs.
IMPAQ operates its own, in-house Survey Center, housed at our corporate office in Columbia, MD. The 55 work station facility is equipped with integrated CATI, telephone systems, and VNC visual and audio monitoring systems, which allow for multiple quality assurance monitoring capabilities.
Our Survey Center is open seven days a week and is staffed with experienced interviewers, supervisors, coders, locators, and programmers. The Survey Center maintains hours of operation from 9 AM to midnight (EST) to cover all available calling hours throughout the U.S.
We can quickly deploy surveys with a short turnaround time, or assemble teams for larger studies. Survey staff members are highly versatile survey experts, fluent in multiple languages, and skilled in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
IMPAQ interviewers have been highly successful in collecting data on sensitive topics and have shown their ability to exceed project goals.
For example, with a five-year longitudinal survey for the GATE project, we achieved an 80% response rate, interviewing participants at 6 months, 18 months and 5 years after they were randomly assigned to either a program group or a control group for the evaluation.
Ongoing training of the latest methods and close coordination with our statisticians, social scientists, and subject matter experts, means our survey research staff are able to deliver reliable data in a cost effective, timely manner.
We are expanding into a second facility in California to facilitate late night calling to Pacific time zones, provide additional bilingual capabilities, and have overflow backup.
Our robust data quality assurance (QA) program ensures both the accuracy and completeness of data collection. Establishing ever stronger quality standards through QA reviews guarantee adherence to specific survey-related protocols and processes as the field evolves.
The IMPAQ Survey Center also provides clients with a private room to conduct visual and audio monitoring, while maintaining a view of the entire survey center. Our Survey Center also has remote monitoring capabilities.
Privacy & Confidentiality
The Survey Center takes the confidentiality and security of your data seriously. Our silent monitoring of interviewers along with analysis of raw data ensure not only the quality, but also the confidentiality, of data collected. We have stringent security protocols in place to protect the privacy of our respondents.
Our survey research capabilities are demonstrated in projects such as the 2012 Medicare Fee for Service Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey. IMPAQ is the prime contractor for a large scale, mixed mode survey of 275,00 beneficiaries who are enrolled in the Medicare fee for service program.
Similarly, for the Job Corps National Survey Data Collection project, IMPAQ is conducting more than 60,000 telephone interviews per year with graduates of the Job Corps, a youth training and education program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor.
IMPAQ has conducted more than 9,000 post-program follow-up interviews for the Reemployment Eligibility Assessment Study, which was conducted for the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor.
