The Agriculture Challenge
Farmers and agricultural communities face urgent challenges due to drastic changes in earth’s climate, population, and availability of natural resources. In addressing these challenges, agricultural programs and new technologies must be environmentally sustainable and support long-term economic benefits.
IMPAQ is helping to address these challenges by providing policymakers, program managers, and communities with data and analyses to improve the quality and value of their agricultural production. We work with our partners to provide evidence-based research on strengthening agricultural and livestock value chains of smallholder farmers in order to improve their livelihoods. We are flexible in providing market system and farmer-level evaluation approaches to measure changes in agricultural productivity and profitability.
Together with our clients and local communities, IMPAQ ensures that farmers and agricultural workers are equipped with the resources and support they need to meet the nutrition needs of a global population while protecting the environment for future generations.
