Matt is a political economist by training, which continues to inform his perception of projects and applied, mixed methods. He received his doctorate from the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies, where he examined last mile implementation challenges of anti-hunger programs in Latin America. Before that he received his MSc in applied resource economics from the University of Alaska, and a BA in Latin America Studies from Bowdoin College.
