IMPAQ education researchers will present at the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) Spring Conference, taking place February 28-March 3 in Washington, DC. Join our presentation to learn about our current education research and evaluation work on building math identity.

On March 3, Dr. Andrea Beesley and Dr. Michaela Gulemetova will present “Building Mathematical Identity After School: Year 1 of a Cluster-Randomized Trial” during the The Math Is the Message: Scripted Mathematics Resources and Student Achievement session at 10 AM in Sulgrave - Fairmont Hotel, Floor 3. They co-authored the presentation with Dr. Cheri Fancsali from the Research Alliance for New York City Schools.

During the presentation, Dr. Beesley and Dr. Gulemetova will discuss a cluster-randomized trial of an after-school program intended to build mathematical identity among students in groups under-represented in STEM. Read the full abstract here.
