IMPAQ Seeking Test Sites for Patient Safety Quality Measure Development Project

Columbia, Maryland

March 11, 2021

IMPAQ, along with subcontractors University of California, Davis and Kennell and Associates, has been contracted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to develop, maintain, reevaluate, and implement patient safety measures for potential use in CMS quality reporting programs. As part of this work, IMPAQ is currently seeking test sites to participate in end-to-end testing for electronic clinical quality measures (eCQMs).

Requirements & Benefits

In order to participate, test sites must have access to certified electronic health record (EHR) products and live patient data. In exchange for participating, test sites will have the opportunity to improve patient care and gain insights into the future implementation of CMS measures. Test sites will also receive financial honoraria. Topics of measurement include sepsis, pressure injury, medication-related bleeding, and falls with major injury, among others.
