Over the past decade, IMPAQ International has led research in, and evaluations of, major initiatives that have improved medication-related outcomes among diverse populations. By collaborating with clients at the federal, state, and local levels, we are working to enhance programs and policies that can ensure the safe, effective, and efficient use of pharmaceuticals and related services.
Our multidisciplinary teams combine leading experts in pharmacy, pharmaceutical policy, pharmacoepidemiology, and pharmacoeconomics, with state-of-the-art survey practices, and innovative data collection and management technology to support health care analytics.
Current clients in this discipline include the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Food and Drug Administration, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, and state and local government agencies.
Recent projects include a study to develop new methods to proactively monitor drug safety, efficacy, usage, and substitution patterns of generic drugs, development of performance metrics to rate organizations providing the Medicare Part D Drug Benefit, and providing technical implementation support for new models of medication therapy management.
